Gospel music fans everywhere are “Lovin’ Life” as BILL GAITHER and his Homecoming Friends bring their inspirational music and message across America with the GAITHER HOMECOMING “LOVIN’ LIFE” TOUR 2008.

Hot on the heels of the release of their latest CD, LOVIN’ LIFE, The Gaither Vocal Band, along with a bevy of beloved Homecoming artists, share the classic and timely Gospel sounds of the Gaither phenomenon. Few events have the ability to bring people together the way Gaither Homecoming concerts do. Year after year, Bill Gaither showcases the very best talent in the world of Gospel music, entertaining both young and old, and winning new fans with every performance.

Gaither comments, “Our audiences over the years have been so gracious and supportive that now, more than 40 years after quitting our day jobs as teachers to pursue music full-time, we are still shaking our heads at how far beyond out imagination this path has taken us”. Gaither adds, “We were just writing songs out of our daily struggles and questions…but apparently it struck a chord in the lives of real people like us. Awards, acclaim and gold albums cannot compare to the simple joy of being able to do what we love, after all these years, knowing that our work is still finding its way into the core of people’s lives”.

Nearly two decades after gospel music pioneer Bill Gaither began recording his Homecoming series of videos, virtually everything this Grammy Award winner has touched has turned to gold…and platinum. Throughout that time, the Gaither Homecoming Tour has performed to packed houses worldwide and consistently ranked at the top of the list for most concerts tickets sold worldwide, in any music genre.

Audiences can look forward to an evening of music and celebration featuring both fresh new sounds and classic favorites.

Gaither joins a cavalcade of singers, musicians and comedians, whose collective talents have been honored with countless awards, including Grammys, Doves and The NARAS President’s Merit Award. In 2000, Bill and Gloria Gaither were presented with the first ever “Songwriter of the Century” award by ASCAP. They also received the 2008 Sachem, the state of Indiana’s highest award.
